We can offer fishing permits on eight miles of the River Don for brown trout and more than the occasional salmon.

Fishing Information
We have over 8 miles of fishing on the famous River Don, located in the Cairngorm National Park.
Day Permits can be purchased from the hotel at the current price of £18.00 per day, you will be requested to enter you catch or a nil return in the hotel Catch Book (located at the Reception) Useful record of previous fishing)
 
The Brown Trout season runs from 1st April to 30th September, please note there is a brown trout protection and conservation order in place on the River Don, which prevents fishing on Sundays.
 
The Salmon Season runs from 11th February to 31st October.
We can also arrange a local Ghillie should anyone wish. Please phone in advance to book this service.
