We can offer fishing permits on our stretch of water (Beat 6 both sides of the bank) from the Weir " Hydro Station" up until Craignaholie (the old doctors residence) of the River Don for brown trout and more than the occasional salmon, this beat is directly opposite the hotel and has been greatly enhanced by the installation of a signed footpath leading to a crossing bridge over the River Don.

Fishing Information
We have access to the river, fishing on the famous River Don, located in the Cairngorm National Park.
Day Permits can be purchased from the hotel at the current price of £15.00 per day, you will be requested to enter you catch or a nil return in the hotel Catch Book (located at the Reception) Useful record of previous fishing)

The Brown Trout season runs from 1st April to 30th September, please note there is a brown trout protection and conservation order in place on the River Don, which prevents fishing on Sundays.

The Salmon Season runs from 11th February to 31st October.
