The 168th Lonach Highland Gathering and Games is due to take place on Saturday
22nd August 2009 here in Strathdon, Aberdeenshire. Commencing at 12 noon, with the march of The Lonach Highlanders at 1.00pm
and 3.00pm.
This is one of the oldest Highland Gatherings in Scotland and is well worth a visit.
Please note that all accomodation has been booked here at the hotel for this coming years gathering.
There will be of course the traditional Marquee dance with Rosco Disco held in the large field
opposite the The Colquhonnie House Hotel entrance will be by security bands which can be purchased from the Ticket Office
/ Security Cabin to the entrance of the field. Prices for Camping and Caravans will be displayed shortly.(Please keep looking

There will be random seraches carried out as in previous years,
The Entrance costs per person for this years 2009 Marquee / Camping
are listed below:-
Each person entering the field will be issued with a colour security
coded wrist band depending where they want to go, also a copy of the site rules and conditions, will be issued to each person
entering the field.
The Field for Camping and Marquee dance will be open at 12.00pm Midday on the
21st August 2009. (NO VEHICLES WILL BE ALLOWED ENTRY PRIOR TO THIS OTHER THAN THOSE SERVICE VEHICLES
or PERSONS)

£10 per person per night, (for example 4 persons in a car with a caravan wanting
to stay two nights would cost £80).
The facilities provided for this years field and Marquee dance are provided by The Colquhonnie House
Hotel for the use of its patrons, and as such cannot be held responsible for loss of damage as a result.

ACCOMMODATION AVAILABILITY 2009
Accommodation will be available as from March 2009 for the 2009 Lonach Highland Gathering
in August 2009.
Persons reserving accommodation for the 2009 Games will be asked to pay a 50% non returnable deposit, the
